In an effort to attract international tech startups to work and experience life in Da Nang while fostering stronger connections with the local startup ecosystem, the city will officially host the “Startup Residency Program Da Nang 2025” (Hacker Residency Da Nang 2025) this November. The program is expected to bring together 10–15 international startup teams, along with mentors, investors, and technology experts.

Hacker Residency Da Nang 2025 is an initiative spearheaded by the Hacker Residency Group—a global startup support network founded in Silicon Valley. The program is co-organized by the Da Nang Center for Innovative Startup Support and DataHouse, a reputable IT solutions provider operating in the U.S., Vietnam, and the Philippines. The residency will take place from November 01st to 30th, 2025, at Marisol Villa, Da Nang.

Participants will have the opportunity to focus on product development, engage in weekly demos and a final Demo Day, and receive in-depth mentorship on fundraising strategies, marketing, and go-to-market plans. The program also fosters direct connections with the Da Nang startup community. A standout feature of the residency is its “all-in on product” model: startups are fully supported with accommodation, living expenses, media production, and promotional video coverage, and are only responsible for their airfare. The program charges no fees, takes no equity, and requires no revenue sharing—marking a bold new approach in supporting early-stage ventures.

As of September 2025, the program had received over 400 applications from more than 25 countries, including the United States, Singapore, South Korea, India, and other Southeast Asian nations. It has secured sponsorships from CodeRabbit, n8n, OpenRouter, and Stainless, and is attracting attention from prominent investors and venture capital firms such as Zinance Ventures, Antler, and Golden Gate Ventures.

The program will kick off with an Orientation and Welcome Session from November 01st–03rd to onboard the participating startups. From November 04th–29th, teams will focus on product development and participate in various networking activities with the local startup community. The program will conclude with a Demo Day on November 30th, where startups will pitch their projects to a panel of investors.

More than just a one-time event, the Startup Residency Program 2025 aims to position Da Nang as a rising hub for innovation in the region. It seeks to expand collaborative networks among startups, investors, mentors, and support organizations, paving the way for a thriving and sustainable startup ecosystem in the future.
