Both sides exchanged and discussed.
Within the framework of the working session, the two sides focused on discussing the plan to establish the Daegu Technology Demonstration Space in Da Nang City. This groundbreaking initiative aims to showcase advanced technological products from Daegu, creating a foundation for deeper cooperation among businesses, organizations, and research institutes of the two cities.
According to the plan, DISSC will support by providing a suitable venue, while Daegu City will be responsible for designing and exhibiting cutting-edge technological products. The project is expected to open up cooperation opportunities in key sectors such as information technology, artificial intelligence, smart industry, and renewable energy.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyễn Viết Toàn, Director of DISSC, introduced the city’s orientations and policies supporting innovation and startup development, and invited the Daegu delegation to participate in major city events such as investment connection programs, startup conferences, and innovation forums. These activities not only strengthen connections among technology enterprises but also promote cultural and economic exchange, driving sustainable development between the two cities.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited the office of Sphere AX (Korea) — a technology enterprise with a representative office located in Da Nang Software Park No. 2. Sphere AX is a notable company benefiting from the city’s support policies under Resolution No. 58/2024/NQ-HDND, issued by the Da Nang People’s Council on December 13, 2024. With these practical support measures, the company has effectively leveraged opportunities for growth, contributing to affirming Da Nang’s favorable investment environment and its increasingly mature innovation ecosystem.

The delegation also visited the Daegu Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Daegu CCEI), established in 2014, which is one of the pioneering centers within the national network of “Centers for Creative Economy and Innovation” initiated by the Korean Government.
Daegu CCEI plays a vital role in promoting the startup ecosystem, supporting technology commercialization, and connecting startups with large corporations, research institutes, and universities. Notably, through the C-Lab Acceleration Program in collaboration with Samsung Electronics, the center has enabled startups to leverage patents and resources from this global technology leader.
With a comprehensive support system that includes financial assistance, expert mentorship, and extensive networking, Daegu CCEI has built a vibrant community of innovative enterprises, becoming a model example of creative economic development and international cooperation.
