G-AsiaPacific Introduces the AWS Startup Portal for the Startup and Business Community in Da Nang

On May 14, 2026, the “Da Nang SMB & Startup Connect 2026 – AI & Innovation” program was held at Novotel Danang Premier Han River, bringing together representatives from SMB enterprises, the startup community, technology experts, and innovation support organizations across Da Nang.

The event was co-organized by G-AsiaPacific Vietnam (GAPV), the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center (DISSC), and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with the goal of bridging local businesses with technology solutions, AI trends, and the startup support ecosystem during the current wave of digital transformation.

In his opening speech, Mr. Vo Duc Anh – Deputy Director of the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center – emphasized the role of innovation and technology adoption in driving competitiveness for the local business and startup community. He also highlighted opportunities for enterprises to connect with international technology partners and stakeholders within the startup ecosystem.

As part of the event, G-AsiaPacific Vietnam and DISSC formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aimed at promoting business support activities in digital transformation, AI application, and startup ecosystem development across the Central Vietnam region.

The program featured a series of in-depth sharing sessions from partner organizations. The AWS representative introduced startup support programs in Vietnam, focusing on cloud infrastructure, innovation, and policies to help technology companies grow sustainably.

G-AsiaPacific Vietnam shared how the company is supporting customers in Da Nang in adopting technology, optimizing operations, and accelerating growth in the AI era. DISSC also updated participants on various support policies available for startups, contributing to a stronger innovation environment in the city.

Under the cooperation framework between G-AsiaPacific Vietnam (GAPV), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center (DISSC), the three parties are exploring the deployment of the AWS Startup Portal to expand access to technology resources and support programs for the Da Nang startup community.

The AWS Startup Portal is envisioned as a gateway connecting startups to AWS’s global support ecosystem, enabling them to access AWS Activate programs, cloud computing credits, training resources, cloud and AI courses, as well as a network of international experts and partners.

Integrating this platform into the city’s startup information system will not only standardize the process of accessing support programs but also make it easier for startups to register and find resources suited to each stage of their development. This is considered one of the key components of the cooperation roadmap between GAPV, AWS, and DISSC to advance the innovation ecosystem, strengthen technology capabilities, and expand growth opportunities for startups in Da Nang.
