More Than 50 International Entrepreneurs Attend Investment Opportunity Briefing in Da Nang
On July 14, the Da Nang Innovation Startup Support Center (DISSC), in collaboration with oBacker Joint Stock Company (OBK), organized a policy briefing on Da Nang's innovation and startup support mechanisms for international investors. The event attracted nearly 50 foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and experts interested in exploring investment and business opportunities in Vietnam, particularly in Da Nang.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vo Duc Anh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Innovation Startup Support Center, provided an overview of the city's innovation startup ecosystem, its strategic vision under the "Da Nang – Innovation City" initiative, and the city's supportive policies designed to foster a favorable environment for businesses and investors.
He highlighted that Da Nang has recently promulgated 14 resolutions to implement the special mechanisms and policies authorized under National Assembly Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 and Resolution No. 259/2025/QH15. These resolutions focus on advancing science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. They establish an enabling framework for strengthening the innovation ecosystem, promoting research and development (R&D), accelerating the commercialization of research outcomes, attracting and developing high-quality talent, and encouraging investment in strategic technology sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductor integrated circuits, digital technologies, and high-tech industries.

In addition to introducing these new policy mechanisms, Mr. Vo Duc Anh also shared Da Nang's key strategic development priorities aimed at creating new growth drivers for the city. These include the establishment of an International Financial Center, the development of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, the formation of a National Innovation Center in Da Nang, the expansion of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, the development of centralized information technology parks, and the strengthening of a research and manufacturing ecosystem in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies.
Combined with its strategic geographical location, modern infrastructure, business-friendly environment, and highly skilled workforce, these flagship initiatives are expected to create significant collaboration opportunities for global technology corporations, investment funds, and international enterprises. They will further position Da Nang as a regional hub for innovation, finance, logistics, and high technology. These strategic efforts represent important milestones in enhancing the city's innovation ecosystem while creating favorable conditions for international businesses seeking a long-term investment destination.

His presentation covered the procedures for establishing foreign-invested enterprises (FDI), legal regulations related to investment, taxation, labor, accounting, electronic invoicing, and recent updates in corporate governance policies.

The program was organized under the cooperation framework between the Da Nang Innovation Startup Support Center and oBacker Joint Stock Company, contributing to the promotion of Da Nang's investment environment, innovation startup ecosystem, and special policy mechanisms to the international business and investment community. It also represents a practical effort to strengthen international partnerships, attract high-quality investment resources, foster innovation, and advance Da Nang's vision of becoming a regional hub for innovation, international finance, and high technology, in line with the objectives of the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and the city's development strategy for the new era.
