The annual event aims to comprehensively connect all elements in the innovation startup ecosystem from startups, investors, experts, scientists, support organizations to management agencies.
It also serves as a platform to showcase creative ideas, cutting-edge technologies, and opportunities for startups to seek capital, approach experts and expand cooperation. Through its activities, SURF will contribute to arousing a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and encouraging the spirit of innovation in the community, especially among young people and local businesses.
The event contributes to affirming Da Nang as an attractive destination for investors, and a dynamic hub for innovation startups in the country and Southeast Asia. It also creates immediate values for businesses, gradually building the foundation for a sustainable innovation ecosystem, and contributing to promoting the city's socio-economic development in the digital age.
The main activities at SURF 2025 will include the Innovation Startup Competition with more than 30 projects nationwide competing in preliminary rounds, training sessions and a live final round; and the International Investment Forum themed “Blockchain and Digital Assets -Innovation in Urban Digital Transformation and Digital Economy Development in Da Nang”.
Additionally, there will be the technology and startup exhibition featuring 200 booths both onsite and online, and showcasing innovative solutions and new tech products; exchange activities with domestic and international experts; and specialized seminars.
In particular, SURF 2025 will organize in-depth discussions revolving around prominent technology trends such as blockchain, tokenization of assets in trade and tourism, financial technology (fintech), blockchain in digital government, urban management, and digital data.
The event promises to bring together many big names in the technology and investment fields such as Quest Ventures, TRIVE and Fundgo, along with the participation of technology unicorns in the fields of Web3 and Blockchain.
Moreover, SURF 2025 will welcome international organizations such as Swiss EP and Draper Startup House, plus universities, startup incubators, and innovation support organizations from many countries and territories worldwide
