UED 2025 Startup Incubation Evaluation Round: A Launchpad for Student Entrepreneurship Ideas

On the morning of October 19, at the University of Education – the University of Danang, the Evaluation Round of the UED 2025 Startup Incubation Program took place, attracting significant interest from students and young people passionate about entrepreneurship.

The event was organized by the Center for Student Support and Business Relations – University of Education, the University of Danang, in collaboration with the Danang Innovation Startup Support Center, EM&AI Company, Summit Capital Fund, and other units within Danang’s startup support network.

Launched for the first time, the UED Startup Incubation Program aims to identify, nurture, and support students in transforming their startup ideas into reality, contributing to the development of an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem within the university. In 2025, the program attracted nearly 20 student teams with more than 50 participants, representing various fields such as technology, education, environment, agriculture, food, healthcare, and the digital economy.

This year’s evaluation committee comprised experts and professionals with extensive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, including:

• Ms. Võ Thị Kim Oanh – Director of Summit Capital Fund, Head of Business Department at Swinburne Vietnam (Danang Campus)
• Ms. Hồ Thị Minh Thi – Marketing Director of EM&AI Company
• Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hải Hiệp – Director of the Center for Student Support and Business Relations, University of Education – the University of Danang
• Mr. Lê Vũ Trường Sơn – Head of the UED Startup Incubation Program
• Mr. Lê Đình Hội – Specialist at the Danang Innovation Startup Support Center

During the evaluation session, student teams presented their ideas, products, and business models. Many projects received high praise for their creativity, practicality, and clear market orientation. Notable examples included:

• Superfood Copepods – A sustainable microfood development concept
• LAVÉSKIN – A natural-extract skincare product line
• Emotional Journey – An educational board game for developing students’ emotional intelligence
• Multi-purpose Enzyme-based Cleaning Solution Project – Producing cleaning products from plant by-products, promoting a green and circular economy model

Projects presented before the Evaluation Committee

The Evaluation Committee assessed the projects based on eight criteria, including the identification of social issues, target market and customers, level of validation, business model, development plan, product completeness, presentation skills, and team collaboration. Through this process, the teams not only received objective evaluations but also gained in-depth feedback from experts, helping them refine their plans and pursue more sustainable development directions.

With the support of local authorities and Danang’s innovation and startup ecosystem, the UED 2025 Startup Incubation Program is becoming a source of inspiration and motivation, empowering students to confidently embark on their entrepreneurial journeys and spreading the spirit of innovation among the young generation of Danang City.
