The Da Nang Innovation Startup Festival (SURF) 2025 themed "Policy Launchpad - Nurturing Unicorns" will take place on July 29 and 30, the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology announced on Wednesday.

In the entrepreneurship ecosystem, universities and colleges play a crucial role in shaping ideas, serving as nurturing grounds, and developing innovative concepts for personal and societal growth. With the efforts of universities and the support from the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, entrepreneurship has formed a new wave among Da Nang students in recent years.

From 2016 to the present, the Department of Science and Technology has undertaken numerous activities to support the startup ecosystem in the city, achieving significant results. A highlight of these efforts is the expansion of legal frameworks, the search for attractive funding sources, and investments to help businesses, individuals, and organizations in the startup community to thrive.
