On the morning of August 2, under the direction of the Da Nang People's Committee, the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the National Institute of Medicinal Materials (Ministry of Health), THACO AGRI, Tra Linh Medicinal Materials Joint Stock Company, and the VTV8 – Thanh An Media Consortium, organized the International Scientific Conference entitled "Ngoc Linh Ginseng – From a National Product to a Global Brand."

On the morning of July 7, the Da Nang Economic, Finance and Technology Week 2026 officially opened at the Furama International Convention Palace in Da Nang City. The opening ceremony was attended by senior leaders of the Party and the State, representatives of central ministries and agencies, international organizations, experts, scientists, investors, and members of the domestic and international business community.

On the morning of June 29, the Da Nang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Center for Research and Training (DSAC), under the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, launched the 2026 Central Vietnam Extended FPGA & MCU Design Competition. The launching ceremony was attended by representatives from local departments, agencies, universities, colleges, tech enterprises, and a large number of local students.
